About Civic Meridian
Civic Meridian provides education, professional development, training, coaching, and related services primarily for public-sector professionals and organizations.
Our offerings may include leadership and public servant development, municipal code enforcement education, water and wastewater utility training, licensing preparation, continuing education, workshops, coaching, educational materials, and related professional services.
Educational Purpose
Civic Meridian's courses, presentations, publications, website content, and other educational materials are provided for professional development and educational purposes.
While we strive to provide accurate, practical, and current information, laws, regulations, licensing requirements, technical standards, agency policies, and professional practices may change.
Participants remain responsible for verifying requirements applicable to their employment, license, certification, organization, or jurisdiction.
Registration & Payment
Registration may be required for certain courses, workshops, events, coaching programs, or other services.
Where payment is required, fees must be paid according to the terms presented during registration, invoicing, or checkout.
Civic Meridian may use third-party payment processors or registration platforms. Payment information submitted through those services may be subject to the provider's own terms and privacy practice
Cancellations, Transfers & Refunds
Cancellation, transfer, and refund policies may vary depending on the course, event, program, or service purchased.
Any specific cancellation or refund terms provided during registration or in a proposal, agreement, invoice, or course description will control for that particular offering.
Civic Meridian reserves the right to reschedule, modify, relocate, or cancel a program when reasonably necessary. When Civic Meridian cancels a paid program and does not provide a suitable alternative, affected participants will be provided an appropriate refund or credit.
Continuing Education & Licensing
Some Civic Meridian courses may qualify for continuing education credit or may be designed to support preparation for professional licensing or certification examinations.
Not every Civic Meridian course is approved for continuing education credit.
Any course offering continuing education credit will identify the applicable approval, credit type, number of hours or credits, and other relevant conditions when appropriate.
Participants are responsible for confirming that a course satisfies the requirements applicable to their individual license or certification.

Attendance & Completion
Courses offering certificates, continuing education hours, or other documentation may require participants to satisfy attendance, participation, assessment, identity-verification, or other completion requirements.
Civic Meridian may decline to issue a certificate or report completion when those requirements have not been satisfied.
Certificates document completion or participation as specified and do not independently confer a professional license, certification, qualification, or authorization to practice.
Professional Conduct
Participants are expected to maintain appropriate professional conduct during Civic Meridian programs.
Civic Meridian reserves the right to remove a participant whose conduct is disruptive, unsafe, discriminatory, threatening, unlawful, or substantially interferes with the learning environment.
Coaching & Professional Development
Leadership coaching and professional development provided by Civic Meridian are educational and developmental services.
They are not substitutes for legal, financial, medical, psychological, mental-health, human-resources, or other licensed professional services.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, Civic Meridian owns or is authorized to use the educational materials, course content, presentations, graphics, publications, worksheets, videos, branding, and other original content it provides.
Materials provided to participants are intended for their individual professional and educational use unless otherwise authorized in writing.
Participants may not reproduce, publish, sell, distribute, upload, commercially exploit, or substantially modify Civic Meridian materials without prior written permission.
Participation in a course does not transfer ownership of Civic Meridian's intellectual property.

Civic Meridian makes reasonable efforts to maintain accurate website information but does not warrant that all website content will always be complete, current, or error-free.
